Faith-Based Events Coordinator

This position is based in Plano, Texas

R&R Ministries is seeking an experienced and organized Volunteer Event Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of our annual and quarterly events. These events play a key role in community engagement, fundraising, and promoting our mission.Reporting to the Community Engagement Coordinator, you will manage all phases of event planning. from concept to clean-up, ensuring every detail is thoughtfully handled and aligned with our goals. Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, layouts, catering, guest experience, and scheduling.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, exhibitors, and venues.
• Manage event budgets and ensure all expenses stay within financial targets.
• Create and maintain financial reports, collect payments, and track expenses.
• Oversee on-site setup, event execution, and tear-down.
• Troubleshoot issues and adapt to changing conditions to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare contingency plans for potential disruptions.
• Maintain a strong understanding of diverse event requirements, both large and small.

Time Commitment:Minimum of 4 hours per week, with a flexible schedule determined in collaboration with the Volunteer Coordinator.
