Event Volunteer: Varies Locations and Virtual Opportunities Available

The event volunteer position duties are exclusive to the event that the volunteer signs up for. Throughout the year the agency has various events that they are hosting. Some are at our Denton or Frisco location and others are at other sites within the metroplex. Our events that we have going are found on our website under the meetups/community tab or can be found by going to our Facebook page. Some of the events hosted throughout the year are Bike for Life clinics, Giving Day activities meetups, fundraisers at restaurants and our sites, etc. Volunteers can also help build or maintain structures at our buildings. Individuals and organizations are welcome to offer to volunteer. The event coordinator assistant position can be done from an off site location for the majority of the needs. The duration of the event volunteering for is between 3 and 5 hours. Excellent communication and organization is expected in this position. Volunteers who succeed in this position are reliable, punctual, well spoken, good at taking initiative and thinking ahead. This position can be a volunteer position or used for class credit, practicum, or internship.
