About this Opportunity

Horticulture Volunteer Join the Dallas Zoo as a Native Plant Propagation Volunteer and help restore North Texas ecosystems by growing native prairie plants! Volunteers play a vital role in propagating, caring for, and preparing nativeplants for restoration projects, pollinator gardens, and community distribution.

  • Assist with seed processing, sowing, transplanting, and watering native plants.
  • Maintain greenhouse and nursery spaces, including weeding and organizing plants.
  • No prior experience needed - just a passion for nature!

Time Commitment: Flexible volunteer shifts available. Regular workdays typically take place on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays from 10 am - 2 pm.
