About this Opportunity
CCSC partners with local schools to offer vision screening for students on their campuses. Volunteers in the Louise J. Moran Vision Care Program help school nurses conduct basic eye exams for underserved students. Some volunteers also accompany students on a field trip to the University Eye Institute at the University of Houston College of Optometry.
Volunteers who enjoy direct involvement with children and are available on weekday mornings, typically during the fall semester, are often drawn to this opportunity.
