Experiential & Service LearningWhat We Offer Your StudentsWe invite your students to join PIF in creating a just food system. When students visit our farms they engage in local agriculture while exploring the unique environment of the Texas Gulf Coast. In addition, your students will come away from their PIF experience with a better understanding of who a refugee is and how new American families serve Houston.We work with students sixth grade through college. Our professional staff will work with you to craft a service learning experience that fits the needs of your students and your curriculum. Depending on your interests, our team can lead sessions on topics ranging from the science of how plants grow to the politics that shape our food system.
