Are you looking to make a meaningful difference this summer? Join our compassionate team as a Summer Hospice Volunteer and help bring comfort, dignity, and connection to individuals at the end of life.

As a hospice volunteer, you'll provide emotional support, companionship, and a calm presence to patients and their families. Whether it’s reading aloud, listening to stories, helping with small tasks, or simply sitting in silence, your presence matters.

Volunteer Responsibilities May Include:

• Visiting patients in their homes, assisted living, or nursing facilities

• Offering companionship and conversation

• Supporting family caregivers with respite time

• Running light errands (as appropriate)

• Assisting with administrative tasks at our hospice office (optional)

Training Provided:

All volunteers receive comprehensive training to feel confident and supported in their role. No prior healthcare experience required-just a warm heart and willingness to serve.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18+

• Empathetic, dependable, and comfortable around individuals with serious illness

• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• Background check and TB test (provided by us)

• Commitment of at least 1-2 hours per week
